Terms and Conditions – MUST READ BEFORE BOOKING! You have agreed to these Terms and Conditions as soon as you submit your booking.

Delivery & Pick-Up

We will arrive on your property for delivery & pick-up between 8pm-1am. We will not contact you when we are on our property because for most this is a surprise. By sending payment you agree to give us permission to be on your property the night before & the pickup time arranged for your rental. If people are on the property when we deliver we will continue to setup, If you want this to be a surprise please keep the person away from the front lawn between the hours of set up. 8pm-1am. We are NOT responsible for ruining surprises as this is our window for delivery. If this is a gift please notify another person that will be on the property that you have sent signs. Please make that person aware of this terms and conditions. You are responsible for all these terms and conditions and are also responsible to education the receiver of these terms and conditions. If they fail to follow you will be responsible. We must be able to access the lawn at the appropriate booking window. If this is a gated community and you have not given us a code you will not be refunded. If there is not clear access to the working area when we arrive we will not set up the display and no refund will be provided. Sorry, We cannot accept time requests and will NOT estimate arrival times. If you wish to be phoned before our arrival we would be more than happy to do that. Please request that at the time of booking.

Payment

All fees can be paid via Credit Card on the website. Payments are taken through stripe payment securely. We cannot see your banking information. If the payment fails the order will NOT go through. You will receive an email when your payment has been successfully taken. Sometimes the emails like to hide in the junk folder. Please feel free to email us if you wish to check on the status of your payment. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS. If the payment has failed you are responsible. If you wish to email transfer please let us know we would be more than happy to accommodate. We will not set up displays if we do not receive payment before the deliver date.

Damage/Safety

Our signs are inserted into a grassed area with metal/wooden stakes. These may leave small holes in the lawn. We are not responsible for any damages and or injuries the signs and fixtures may cause on or off your property during the duration of your rental. If you rental is extended due to weather or at your request you are still responsible for any damages on or off the property that these signs or fixtures may cause. If the signs are vandalized damaged or stolen we may request for you to replace them. They are your responsibility while they are on your property. If you gift the rental the purchaser/renter is responsible for any damages on or off the property during the duration or extended duration. Please keep away from the signs; especially small children. We are not responsible for any injuries or damage these signs or fixtures may cause on or off the property. If the signs fall off the stakes; please DO NOT repair yourself. Please email us and we will have someone come and fix it. You are considered responsible from the time our installer steps foot on your property to install signs/ fixture, until the time they leave the property completely with the signs and fixtures. For the safety of our team please keep your property free of ice. If our installer is injured on your property due to a fault of the purchaser or receiver legal action may take place. Please notify the receiver of these terms and conditions.

Weather

We do our best to make sure our signs are properly installed and can withstand fair weather conditions. In a case when the weather is excessively windy, snowy or rainy we may cancel your rental. In a case where the signage is already installed and significant winds arise please keep an eye on the signage. It something becomes loose because of the wind please keep it in a safe place. Purchaser is responsible to pass on this information to the receiver. A refund will not be issued if the signs do not withstand significant winds. This is out of our control. If the signs fall off the stakes please DO NOT repair yourself. Please keep it in a safe place, or Please email us immediately. In some cases someone may NOT be available to fix it and you will be asked to keep it in a safe place. If the signage falls off because of weather a discount or refund will not be issued. We are not responsible for any damages that these signs may cause on or off the property. The purchaser/renter is responsible for ALL damages. If the signs cause damage or injuries on or off your property because of weather conditions you are also responsible. WINTER BOOKINGS; If the lawn is too dense (this is rare, we have proper tools to get through ice and snow) or the roads are too dangerous for our employees to come out your booking may be cancelled. A full refund will be issued. A refund will NOT be issued if our installer arrives on the property and the driveway/roadway leading to your home is not in safe conditions ie. icy. In this case a 40% refund will be issued to you, and the signage will not be displayed.

Cancellations

Due to high volume of bookings, we do not offer cancellations/ refunds. If you wish to switch your date this can be done with 48 hours notice, based on availability. If the date is blocked off its because the rental is taken or that date is at max capacity. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS. We do not offer time requests and we cannot estimate exact deliver times.

Rentals

All rental displays are property of Lawn Celebration Signs Durham Region. All signs must remain on the lawn during the duration of your rental. Unless otherwise stated. Please do not move the signs, or try to repair the signs. All signs must be returned. If there are missing pieces a fee may be charged. Displays will be picked up that night between 8pm-1am. Displays will consist of approx 19-22 pieces. Pieces shown are may be substituted for something similar due to prior theft, or damage.

Communication

We trust that the phone # and email you have provided us is correct and you will respond to any questions or inquires we may have about the booking or property. If you fail to answer our emails texts or phone calls and we cannot proceed with your booking and the booking will be cancelled. If the address or date is wrong when booked we will not offer a refund. Please notify us if you are not confident you inputted the right address or date.

Slander/Hate messages/Threats

When arriving on the property if we feel unsafe for any reason we reserve the right to cancel any bookings. If we are asked to leave the property or approached in an unsafe manor we will cancel your booking with NO REFUND provided. If for any reason you are unhappy with our services please contact us so we can resolve the issue. We will NOT tolerate any hate messages or threats. If we feel threatened we will not pursue the booking. The booking will be refunded with no refund. We also have zero tolerance for slander. We reserve the right to report this to our lawyer and pursue legal actions. We reserve the right to discontinue serving customers whom make us feel uncomfortable.
